In this video, we are going to look at the 4 Levels of learning and how you can to start to fine tune the programming of your unconscious abilities by identifying these levels of learning.

So Why is this information important? Well if you want to increase your wealth, health, success, relationships and happiness then this is for you.

Because it is easier to get the desired result and not get the undesired result when you’re consciously aware of the 4 levels of learning, so here they are.

  • Unconscious Incompetence
  • Conscious Incompetence
  • Conscious Competence
  • Unconscious Competence

Level 1: Unconscious Incompetence (You don’t know that you don’t know)

At this level, you are blissfully unaware, you have a complete lack of knowledge and skills on the subject in question. You are unaware of this lack of skill, and your confidence may therefore far exceed your abilities.

Take for example driving a car for the first time until you get behind the wheel and try to work it all out, how to start the engine, Push the clutch in and change gears and use all of the instruments. You find yourself sitting there thinking ok there is a lot more to this I was not aware of. Especially if you have had no previous experience at the task.

That brings us to Level 2: Conscious Incompetence

(You are now aware that you did not know, or are aware you are incompetent at, driving a car for now)

At this level, you find that there are skills you need to learn, and you may be aware that there are others who are much more competent than you.

Realizing that your ability is limited, your confidence may drop as you go through an uncomfortable period learning these new skills that others are much more competent at.

Level 3: Conscious Competence

(You developed a new skill in the area, of driving a car but you have to think about it and if you don’t concentrate fully there could be consequences. You May crash)

At this level, you have acquired some new skills and knowledge. You put your learning into practice, and you gain confidence in carrying out the ability to drive a car.

You are aware of your new skills and work on refining them. However, you are still concentrating on the performance of these activities, but as you practice more and more you experience, these tasks become increasingly automatic.

Level 4: Unconscious Competence (Now you are good at driving the car it comes naturally to you)

At this level, driving a car has become automatic you can change gears, work the radio, watch for other vehicles and operate everything without even thinking too much about it.

As you perform the task without conscious effort and with automatic ease, this becomes the peak of your confidence and ability. Here sometimes people develop too much confidence add to their competency eating their lunch and talking on their phones at the same time.

Not a Strategy I would recommend. However, you get the point when you are Unconsciously competent at a task you can effortlessly perform at a high level of competency and move forward at a faster pace. So now that you are conscious of the four levels of learning I want you to think about the strategies you could be unconsciously competent at that are resourceful or unresourceful. So exactly how do you become more aware of these strategies?

Well, you will need to watch the next video as it now starts to get interesting and will take more explaining than we have time for today.

So, don’t forget to like share and subscribe to this training if you want to learn more about the power of your unconscious mind and how to get the life you want.
